THE AUTHOR

Vitor Veiga born in 1956, is a lawyer and lives in Lisbon.
He’s the president of the Portuguese Podengo Club since its foundation in 1990.
Mr. Veiga breeds small and medium Portuguese Podengos with the affix “Vale do Poço”. He has several Champions.
He is an international judge from the V Group and all Portuguese Breeds. Mr. Veiga is recognised by the Portuguese Kennel Club and the FCI.
He is a member of several Portuguese Breed Clubs, Portuguese Kennel Club and one of the founders of the Portuguese Podengo Club.
Author of several articles about Portuguese breeds, he is an active breeder and also loves to hunt.
This book is a life project to promote and developed the breed.
