BIS Smooth pequeno e medio


The yearly podengo main show in Finland is the Sight Hound Special show.
This year, as many times before the show was in the middle of August. The number of entries was an all time record with altogether 86 podengos showed.
There were 4+3 medium smooths, 6+6 medium wires, 17+23 small wires and 11+16 small smooths. We had Mr Rui Oliveira judging the podengos. The number of dogs was a very pleasant surprise for him as he said that he has never seen so many podengos in a foreign show. 
The Finnish Podengo Assocation has also an unofficial reward which is given to the best podengo in this show. This year the winner was a small smooth male Roxinol do Vale Negro.
The weather on our show day, Saturday, was sunny and warm as it at its best can be in August. This and all the people and Mr Rui Oliveira made the show again an unforgettable event in our memories.

A principal exposição anual de Podengos na Finlândia é o Sight Hound  Special show. Este ano tal como em muitos anos anteriores realizou-se em meados de Agosto. O numero de inscrições foi um record com um total de 86 Podengos. Estiveram presentes 7 Medios lisos, 12 Medios cerdosos, 40 Pequenos cerdosos e 27 Pequenos lisos.
Rui Oliveira foi o juiz para os Podengos. O numero de cães foi uma agradável surpresa para ele pois tal como disse nunca tinha visto tantos Podengos numa exposição no estrangeiro.
A Associação Finlandesa do Podengo tem um prémio não oficial que é dado ao melhor Podengo nesta exposição. Este ano o vencedor foi um Podengo Pequeno liso , o macho Rouxinol do Vale Negro.
O dia durante a exposição, no sábado, esteve soalheiro e quente no seu melhor de Agosto. Isso e todas as pessoas e o senhor Rui Oliveira fizeram com que fosse mais uma vez uma exposição inesquecível nas nossas memorias.
