19ª Exposição Canina Monográfica do Podengo Português Portugal,

 O Clube do
Podengo Português, realizou a 19ª Exposição Monográfica
do Podengo Português no dia 24 de Maio, com 120 cães presentes
das seis variedades. Foram juízes do evento: Francisco Ruiz (ESP)
João Paula Bessa (PT) e Francisco Salvador Janeiro (PT). O Best
in Show foi ganho pelo Podengo pequeno de Pelo Liso “Concha da Praia do
Ribatejo” de Luís Macedo. Estiveram presentes 31 expositores sendo
alguns oriundos da Suiça, GB, Finlândia, EUA e Espanha. Estiveram
presentes delegações e visitantes dos EUA, Finlândia,
Suiça, Alemanha, GB e Espanha. A marca patrocinadora foi a Royal
Canin a quem o Clube agradece a ajuda na organização do evento
e os prémios atribuídos aos expositores. O Clube agradece
igualmente os apoios dados pela Câmara Municipal de Almeirim os quais
permitiram a concretização do evento e todo o êxito
alcançado. Devido às más condições climatéricas
que se fizeram sentir em toda a região, procedeu-se à transferência
de última hora do local previsto para pavilhão principal
do CNEMA , ficando-se a dever àquelas duas entidades a garantia
da logística que permitiu o êxito do evento. Finda a exposição
realizou-se um almoço convívio que reuniu mais de meia centena
de associados e apaixonados da raça, o qual decorreu com grande
entusiasmo e sã camaradagem.
The Portuguese Podengo Club accomplished the 19th Monográfica of the Portuguese Podengo on May 24 2007, with 120 present dogs of the six varieties. Best in Show was won by Small Podengo Smooth-haired female "Concha da Praia do Ribatejo” frm the breeder Luís Vaz Macedo They were present 31 exhibitors being some originating from Switzerland, GB, Finland, USA and Spain. They were present delegations and visitors from the USA, Finland, Switzerland, Germany, GB and Spain. The mark sponsor was Royal Canin who the Club thanks for the help in the organization of the event and the prizes attributed to the exhibitors. The Club thanks the supports equally given by the City hall of Almeirim that allowed the materialization of the event and all the reached success. Due to the bad weather conditions organization proceeded to the transfer in last minute to the main pavilion of CNEMA. Thanks to those two entities that warranty the logistics that allowed the success of the event. After the show took place a lunch conviviality that gathered more than half hundred of associates and passionate of the breed, with great enthusiasm and healthy companionship.
