North International Dog Show and Best Dog from 2003

.  Took
place in Porto, Portugal, 21 and 22 February 2004 the 64th International
Canine North Show with the presence of 1400 dogs, of which 200 were from
Portuguese breeds.
The breeder Vasco Matias won the Best Breeder Group of the Show with Small Wire Podengos from the affix "Vale do Cutileiro". The third place for the best Breeder Groupr, judged by João Bessa, went to Praia do Ribatejo kennel from Luis Vaz de Macedo, with Small Podengo smooth-haired. Small Podengos had this way a great promotion in a day that prestige the breed. PODENGOS

In this event, organized by the Portuguese Kennel Club, they also deliver the awards Best Dog of the Year 2003 and Best BIS 2003. The Best dog from the Portuguese Breeds 2003 were Podengo Small smooth-haired Rosmaninho da Praia do Ribatejo, being in second Pinhão da Praia do Ribatejo from the same breed. In the BIS 2003, the 1st place went to the Portuguese Water Dog Noz da Quinta do Refúgio and in the 2nd place Rosmaninho da Praia do Ribatejo. The Best Portuguese Breeds Breeder Group 2003 was the kennel Praia do Ribatejo from Luis Vaz Macedo with small smooth-haired Podengo. |
